We at Wilson-Kindelan are so thrilled to welcome aboard Maryanne Rogers as an integral part of our school formation. Maryanne has broad experience in the field of education as a former policymaker who received an MEd in Education Research, Measurement and Evaluation at Boston College while working as a graduate research assistant in the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center and the Center for the Study of Testing, Evaluation and Educational Policy.
Maryanne also chaired and served as a member of the Weston School Board for eight years. In addition, she was appointed to the Massachusetts English Language Arts Curriculum Framework Review Panel charged with revamping the statewide K-12 curriculum standards.
Finally, Maryanne worked as a healthcare actuary at CIGNA and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. For twenty years, she served on the Society of Actuaries Education and Examination Committee assisting with the development and grading of actuarial exams. She grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from University of Notre Dame in the first coed class with a BA in Mathematics.
Maryanne brings gentle leadership, great intelligence and a much needed dose of humor to the work that goes on at the school. As the mother of three sons, she considers what she learned from her parenting to be one of her greatest assets and best life experience.
